Virtual Townhall Meeting
We were approached by a company who had previously tried to deliver their virtual Townhall meetings internally on Teams live, but due to various IT, video and audio issues, on top of lack of experience in directing and delivering slick shows, they ended up needing to apologise to their attendees post event for intermittent and poor quality delivery.
They asked us to technically produce these events for them going forwards.
We achieved the high quality output by conducting the virtual show from our MSG MCR in Harpenden (with 1gb upload/download dedicated fibre internet), hosting all video and slides content on site with us to ensure that the content was at the highest possible quality feeding the end transmission. We brought in their presenters remotely over video calls, and sent them links to use a virtual clicker system, so they could advance their own slides, as if they were right there with us in the studio.
We then vision mixed the show, seamlessly placing presenters and slides in various focused, clean and on brand layouts. They commented on how much more appealing it was for their viewers vs the Teams automatic cameras cutting between presenters, or a dominant screenshare with no smooth transitions or branding.
Our experience in running these styles of events mean we have a great insight on how to achieve incredibly high production values vs a standard virtual meeting. We have delivered these types of Townhalls onto companies Teams and Zoom corporate accounts, and various other platforms, such as CVENT, Swapcard and Hoppin, to name just a few.
The impact of partnering with MSG for these shows meant improved production values and slick reliable delivery. The feedback from each Townhall was very positive from their global colleagues, and subsequently increased the attendance figures for following events, and increased their engagement too.
