Sony FX3 Full-Frame Cinema Camera — Dry Hire
The Sony FX3 is the smallest camera in Sony's Cinema Line, putting a full-frame back-illuminated sensor, 15+ stops of dynamic range and S-Cinetone colour science into a body light enough for gimbals, drones, car rigs and tight locations. It's a natural fit for music videos, branded and social content, B-camera and crash-cam work, and documentary crews who need to stay discreet — and its footage intercuts cleanly with the FX6 and FX9 on mixed Sony shoots.
Dual base ISO (800/12,800) gives clean images from bright exteriors to very low light, while internal recording in XAVC S-I, XAVC HS and XAVC S (up to 10-bit 4:2:2) delivers 4K up to 120fps and Full HD up to 240fps. Five-axis in-body stabilisation, 627-point Fast Hybrid AF with Real-time Tracking and a built-in cooling fan for long takes make it a dependable single-operator camera. The detachable top handle adds two XLR/TRS audio inputs, and 16-bit RAW can be output over full-size HDMI to a compatible external recorder. Unlike the FX6 and FX9 it has no built-in ND filter or SDI output, so plan for external ND and an HDMI-based workflow.
