Sony FR7 Full-Frame Cinema Line PTZ Camera — Dry Hire

The Sony FR7 is a full-frame Cinema Line PTZ camera, bringing genuine cinematic image quality to remote and multi-camera production. It shares its 35.6 x 23.8mm full-frame Exmor R back-illuminated sensor with Sony's Cinema Line cameras, supports interchangeable Sony E-mount lenses, and delivers over 15 stops of dynamic range with S-Cinetone colour science — a step change from conventional small-sensor PTZ cameras.

Pan/tilt range extends to 340° pan and 225° tilt, with control via IR remote, the optional RM-IP500 control panel, or Sony's IP web app, and up to 100 stored presets for repeatable multi-camera setups. Hybrid autofocus with 627 phase-detection points and face detection keeps subjects sharp at wide apertures, while outputs cover 12G-SDI, HDMI and NDI HX/RTSP/SRT streaming. Internal recording is XAVC-I/XAVC-L to dual CFexpress Type A/SDXC media, and genlock/timecode BNC connections support full integration into OB and studio workflows.
