Webcast Studio Design & Installation
MSG Broadcast designs, installs and supports permanent webcast studios — a room at your own offices that can run a livestream, a hybrid meeting or a sponsored panel without bringing in a crew every time. We have built studios for corporate clients who needed to broadcast regularly, and we specify them so your own team can operate the space day to day.
Why install a studio rather than hire a crew each time
If you are running webcasts regularly, a permanent studio changes the economics. The cost stays largely fixed while the income from sponsored sessions and the value of internal events keeps growing. It also means round-the-clock access: you can respond to a news story, an investor question or a last-minute all-hands the same day, rather than waiting on a booking.
One client used their studio to generate new revenue from sponsored talks, lift the production value of ordinary meetings held in the same room, and gain the credibility of having a broadcast studio at their headquarters.
What we install
Robotic cameras. Typically three Sony FR7 full-frame PTZ cameras on remote heads, with recallable preset shots so staff can select a framing without a camera operator.
Lighting. Prolycht fixtures mounted on ceiling truss runs, set once and left — no re-rigging between sessions.
Audio. Sennheiser microphones on the truss for general coverage, plus Shure radio microphones for presenters and panellists.
Graphics and playback. Dedicated machines for slides, lower thirds, stings and video rolls.
Production. A vMix system producing the output as a livestream, a web meeting or an SRT link to wherever it needs to go.
Mix-minus audio returns so remote contributors hear the room without hearing themselves back.
An in-room return screen showing remote callers, the current and next slide, the time of day and a prompter-style script feed.
Built to be run by your own team
The point of a permanent install is that it stops being a production every time. We programme preset shots, label the controls and hand over a room that an in-house AV or comms person can run. We stay available for the bigger sessions, software updates and changes as your requirements grow.
What studios get used for
Presenter-led sessions with slides
Panel discussions and weekly webcasts
Investor meetings and sponsored talks
All-hands, town halls and AGMs

Where we work
We are based in Harpenden, Hertfordshire, a few minutes from the M1 and close to Luton, St Albans and north London, and we install and support studios across the UK. If you would rather not install at all, the same kit is available through our equipment rental department, including broadcast and cinema cameras and portable production units.
You can see a studio we designed and installed in our webcast studio case study.
THINKING ABOUT A STUDIO?
Get in touch to talk through the room, how you want to use it and what it would take to install. We are happy to advise before you commit to anything.
